The Pebble Project is indeed very large. However, it is disqualified from these listings until it reports proven and probable reserves. At present Pebble reports around 50 million ounces of measured and indicated resources depending on the cut-off grade applied. It is quite possible that Pebble’s reserves could exceed 30 million ounces, propelling it into the top rankings by size.
Unfortunately, I don’t have detailed data for Europe that is not publicly reported. I can recommend Raw Materials Group which has a very deep and broad database – http://www.rmg.se/
Hi Tim,
A very nice database – thank you. Am gathering a like thing for Russian deposits (incl. small ones and of course not only P&P but also resources).
Spotted a misprint – please change the country for Kinross’s Paracatu – it is in Brazil rather than Russia. Thanks!

Hi Minefund,
Im wondering whether you have a version of your lists for largest gold deposits, and highest grade gold projects for the European gold mines?
If not, would you know where I can obtain this data?
Thank you kindly in advance, and also for your overall stellar work.

Thanks for catching that, Alex. Correction will be made shortly. Let me know when your Russian project database is ready – would like to see it.
